Hi,

I was trying to install the module, but it seems that with the version of php 5.4 is giving too many problems and a lot of error logs on Cpanel, do you recommend to host it and install it on a php 4.3 version ? As it seems is not ready for the php 5.4 module.

It is pretty well known that finding a Drupal Module can be a daunting task. There can be many modules that have very similar functions. And even if you can narrow it down, it is often difficult to compare the modules without installing them and playing around with them. Let alone the fact that documentation can almost always be better.

Great article Alan, it is very helpful. I have been trying to figure out Drupal for awhile now and the modules and codes, and basically it has been a big mess and very difficult for me. The advice you gave in your blog is soooo helpful, I have everything set up for my Drupal cms just the way I need it to be. I wouldnt have been able to do it without your blog. Thank you.

I can't stand Drupal personally. I've only briefly used it, but I found it very frustrating to use. My hatred could partially do to the fact I was turned down for a Drupal job when I was younger.. who knows.

Never got hold of Drupal, seems complicated to me. Instead i am using Blogger now.

I love Drupal Too, but prefer Wordpress as there are more Themes, Plugins, and the learning curve i much smaller.

I agree about Drupal modules and how finding them can be difficult. I really prefer Wordpress because of how easy it is to get plugins on that platform. WP is not as robust as Drupal on some things but it is much easier to find great plugins for it.

Drupal is for heavy hitter while WP is more like for simple blogging. Drupal use a lot more resources that WP though

I think it's horses for courses really - Wordpress is good for basic stuff, while Drupal is for people who want to get more technically involved.
