Dave Eads (of CTC and FG/C fame) and I have been talking about taking a Twin Cities trip soon, so I'm definitely looking forward to that. We recently had a FG/C retreat (essentially a *long* staff meeting) discussing various administrivia and responsibility approaches that I think you guys could greatly benefit from. I'll talk to the rest of the crew and see what sort of evangalista/support/FreeGeekAwesomeness package we can put together for our soon-to-be trip up there. I have never heard of Rhubarb but it sure sounds like a tasty treat. I think the rhubarb cobbler would be especially good. You learn something new everyday.

Sounds like a great time. I started some rhubarb in my garden last year, but of course you know you should let it o the first year than start eating it the next. So there is this summer for me!

I have heard of rhubarb, however i have never seen it or eaten it. However the list of foods sounds very delicious. It is nice that the rhubarb tradition is still continuing strong in the Midwest. It sounds like it is an important part of the area's history. Unfortunately it was raining and cold when you had teh celebration but hopefully it was very fun.

for sure this was a cool rhubarb feast. no matter what weather it is that you have their, the show must go on. this is a very important feast in your place for sure.

I live in the area and have always wanted to attend an RBBQ. I grew up on rheubarb and only know a couple recipes. It looks like you guys have a great selection of rhubarb recipes to choose from and everything sounds delicious. I will be at RBBQIV next year ok?

Do you know if there will be one hosted in 2009? The list of food choices made my mouth water. Please let me know if there will be another in 2009. Not many places have rhubarb barbecues.

These dishes on paper look very good. I didn't know about Rhubarb but checked out on Wikipedia from the link you gave, it's really good! I will check it out more about it, it has 93.61% water and a great source for vitamins, also it has only 0.2g of fat! Terrific. Thanks for sharing your experience. Vegetables are tasty and healthy.
